The class sessions for the Religious Education (RE) Program at All Saints Parish is staffed are taught by a team of volunteers under the leadership of the Director of Religious Education. Together, the RE staff and volunteers guide children and families into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

RE Class Session Volunteer Opportunities:
Classroom Catechist: Plan lessons, prepare materials, and conduct class each week. Classroom Assistant: Assist with class preparation and management each week; substitute if catechist is absent. Office Assistant: Answer questions at the front desk, assist with materials preparation and office tasks, and general administrative tasks. |
Volunteer Support, Retreats, and Trainings:
The RE Staff supports volunteers throughout their ministry. Volunteers may participate in the RE volunteer retreat, attend the Diocesan Catechetical Conference, and be enrolled in the Diocesan Catechist Certification Program. Volunteers have access to the RE Resource Library and arts and crafts supplies. Classroom support, planning advice, and guidance is available from the Religious Education Staff. Diocesan Requirement As required by the Diocese of Arlington, all volunteers must be compliant with the Office for the Protection of Children and Young People. Packets may be picked up from the Religious Education or Parish Office. |
