Parent Sacrament Meetings with Priests of All Saints Parish
All parents of children who are scheduled to receive sacraments during the 2016-2017 year are required to attend one of the below group Parent Sacrament Meetings. These meetings will be presented by the priests of All Saints parish. Parents of students who are to receive First Communion and Confirmation should all attend a meeting. Please note: any meeting can be attended, they are not specific to a particular sacrament. All sessions are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.
Sacrament Registration Meetings
At the sacrament registration meetings, parents may come and receive information about registering their child for the sacrament of Communion and Confirmation. Please note: this meeting, while not required, is in addition to the Parent Sacrament Meetings listed above. Parents may also receive the registration information for their child’s sacrament in the RE Office after the meeting date below.
Sacramental Preparation Program Changes for 2016-2017
For this coming year, the Religious Education (RE) office has established a two-year sacramental preparation program. This means that children and teens who are receiving a sacrament will need to be enrolled in Religious Education class during their sacrament year and the preceding year.
For example, a child who would receive First Communion in 2nd grade in 2017-2018, would need to be enrolled in 1st grade for 2016-2017. This program will include the First Communion, Confirmation, & Christian Initiation sacrament preparation programs.
